Welcome, I'm Adam Beard
I am the founder and lead instructor for Lines to Sines. I started Lines to Sines because I believe in the power of supporting the next generation of students to achieve their academic goals. I have 5+ years of experience leading small group and 1:1 upper-level math tutoring sessions.

Bio
I have worked as an upper-level math instructor since early 2019 leading small group and 1:1 sessions for both private companies and online tutoring platforms. I have led virtual and in-person group standardized test prep classes for students such as the PSAT, SAT, and ACT. In between tutoring, I worked as a test engineer for the DoD supporting the US Army as a civilian employee, and I also serve as a STEM volunteer for the Army Education Outreach Program.
My tutoring strategy is all about constant collaboration with the student to facilitate discussion and get to the heart of what the student needs. I encourage all students to ask questions during sessions because it helps them not only learn how to solve problems but why problems are solved a certain way. All sessions are personalized for the student in mind because I want the student to get the most out of every single session. Whether it is concept review, homework support, or specialized test prep, Lines to Sines is here to provide tailored math support in a wide range of subjects.
